FAQs

DeepIP is an AI assistant created by Patent Professionals for Patent Professionals to deliver better work to their clients more efficiently and increase the profitability of their practices. It automates repetitive tasks, enhances accuracy, and ensures compliance with USPTO requirements.

A critical point to remember is that DeepIP is not a substitute for professional legal counsel. We strongly advise that inventors consult with IP professionals or patent attorneys to ensure the accuracy and quality of their patent applications. DeepIP is a tool to assist and accelerate the process but not replace the human expertise in the field of patent law.

We take security and confidentiality very seriously. DeepIP prioritizes data confidentiality through several measures.
We do not retain any client data nor use it for model training. All data transmission is encrypted, and we maintain complete segregation of users and organizational data.
We also adhere to strict industry standards, including certifications like ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, and HIPAA. Importantly, through our agreement with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft’s abuse monitoring is disabled, and no external party can access your data. We use an OpenAI model hosted on Azure, but no data is sent to OpenAI’s infrastructure outside of Azure.

DeepIP supports various document formats commonly used in patent drafting, including but not limited to Microsoft Word (.docx), plain text (.txt), pdf, jpegs, png…It also handles audio (wav, mp3, mP4…) format if you want to upload the conversation with the inventor as input to draft more precise sections of your application.

DeepIP features a highly user-friendly interface, making it accessible to patent practitioners with varying levels of technical expertise. Its seamless integration into Microsoft Word ensures quick and easy adoption within your team.

To get started, submit the form on the Trial page, and our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

DeepIP is designed to be technology-agnostic and is effective across various fields, including software, mechanical, electronic, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology patents. Our broad user base reflects its versatile application across different disciplines.

Our models are designed by IP and Machine Learning experts to minimize hallucinations and produce reliable outputs. However, it is critical that users, as IP practitioners, validate all information provided by the system and use their own professional judgment when using any AI solution. DeepIP is intended to assist, not replace, your own professional expertise.

DeepIP allows you to customize your writing style using templates, but the model also ensures compliance with formal requirements set by major patent offices such as the USPTO, and other jurisdictions. We understand the importance of adherence to patent office guidelines and have built this into our system.
